August 2nd thru August 4th

- Houston International Jazz Festival - August is Jazz Month is showcasing some of the most inspirational Jazz entertainment from around the world. Friday August 2nd, there is a Kick-off party downtown at Axelrad Beer Garden starting at 7pm. The Saturday concert is “A Night of Jazz, Keys, and Song” at the University of Houston Cullen Performance Hall starting at 8pm. Sunday closes out the weekend with the Annual SJW Scholarship Jazz Brunch at 11:00 a.m.

August 25th

- TC Energy Theater District Open House from 12 – 5 p.m. Free event that is fun for the whole family. There is lots to do, from lessons in elaborate stage makeup techniques to begining Ballet classes. Houston’s eight world-renowned performing arts organizations, makes this a can’t miss event.

September 7 – In A Pickle Festival

Texas first ever Pickle Festival! Located in Kingwood Town Center Park, 8 North Main St, HOUSTON, TX from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. They will have local Crafters with each vendor having a pickle related item. There will be: Face painting, Jump House, Mechanical Bull Riding, Pickling Contest, Pickle eating Contest, Pickle Juice Drinking Contest, Live Music, Vendors and Food trucks. Come out and see the unique vendors, food, fun, and entertainment!

September 27 thru 28th - Oktoberfest Houston

Houston's only Beer Fest with a German twist. Put on your Lederhosen and Dirndls and enjoy a variety of German and Craft beers. They will have some of the best polka music in Texas. Located in the Beautiful Water Works at Buffalo Bayou Park.
